Workflow product launch for Karwendel

The product launch process was uncontrolled and paper-based. When the product is introduced, an existing product is usually modified. For the product, many data from  different departments (purchasing, sales, controlling, production, logistics, development) has to be collected and then checked and created in SAP. As part of the workflow, the product manager can create a new product and select a similar product (interface to SAP). Then his request will be sent to experts electronically who can release his request. After release, tasks are automatically generated for each department. After data collection / modification by the departments, the completed tasks are automatically summarized in a test task, which is then done by the expert. The data is then transferred to SAP and affected employees are automatically informed by email.
