Kotlin

It was also a new area for us and so we sent our #UBKgeeks for training. What our developer Míra Bešta told us after the training?

“The course helped me to learn the basics of Kotlin. I learned the rules of display layout, but I also worked with Git using a terminal. I noticed that Java is not bad, but as far as Kotlin is concerned, everything is shortened and adapted to the Android studio. I learned new things not only in the Kotlin language, but also in the area of graphical display and adapting displays in real devices. “

What did the developer Matěj Kinkal told us after the training?

“The Kotlin training was based on the basics like setting up the IDE, downloading and configuring all the components needed for development, etc. I then did a simple introduction with the trainer to explain the basic syntax changes compared to Java. More complex functionalities followed until at the end of the training I was able to program a fully functional application with all the features that are generally used very often. The big advantage for me was that many things were compared with the Swift language, so I could understand them more easily. ”
